Nusantara Development Initiatives (NDI)
NDI was borne out of the observation that youths and young professionals in Singapore want to do good in the region, but practically all overseas projects initiated by this demographic tend to be one-off, had no concrete or measurable impact and not sustainable. At times, it is also not clear if the village benefits from the projects.

NDI decides to disrupt this model by solving problems in poor areas just as how a professional NGO would, except that all NDI members are youths and young professionals. We harness the enthusiasm and energy of this demographic with intellectual and operational guidance so that together as a team, we can solve tough problems in poor areas.

Our members are multicultural and diverse. They are made up of Singaporeans, Indonesians and Malaysians, most of whom are based in Singapore. About half of our members are young professionals.
